Coco Chocolate was thrilled to be listed by Channel 4 as one of Britain’s Top 10 Chocolate Shops! We look forward to keeping this hard earned reputation by launching new products throughout 2009, as well as keeping the favourites nominated by our customers.
Coco Chocolate is involved in so many exciting initiatives at the moment. Coco Chocolate was the chosen artisan chocolatier to create the organic chocolate to celebrate the SAKS Fashion Tartan Week 2009 in New York City!
We are also working closely with The Dalmore, creating what Fine Expressions Magazine has titled The Ultimate Luxury Experience! Few would dispute that Whisky and Chocolate make an irresistible pairing, but many will be surprised how similar the refining (Bean to Bar) and distilling (Barley to Bottle) processes are. In both cases, the more pure the ingredient and the greater the time spent on production, the finer the finished product will be. The Dalmore and Coco Chocolate demonstrate how well the two luxury products compliment each other. Interestingly, the specially made chocolates have been created not just to pair up with the taste of the Dalmore whisky but there are different chocolates to pair with the nose and finish as well. Furthermore, the parings are not restricted to the core range but to three expressions ranging from the Dalmore King Alexander III, a £125 to the £1,350 priced Dalmore 40 year old! – A rare treat for anyone’s palette.
New products for 2009 include a siren patterned double wafer pack of our two wafer best sellers - dark with rose and black pepper and milk with rose. A Starry Night gift box set of our beautiful raspberry stars. New organic chocolate hen’s eggs in egg box! A Newly hatched range for newborns and a Picasso inspired box with chocolates splattered with edible paint! To celebrate the revival of the dinner party - Swellegant!: Elegant peppermint chocolates for Swell Dinner Parties! These will be available throughout the year and all will be alerted to their arrival in a newsletter. |
